Know what every video says before you press play
Quick answer
So you've got a 40 minute video sitting there and you have no idea if it has 2 minutes of value in it or 40. The thumbnail won't tell you.
The title won't tell you. The only way YouTube lets you find out is to spend the 40 minutes.
What 125x is: 125x is a web app at 125x.app. You connect your YouTube subscriptions, and it gives you a feed of the latest videos from the channels you follow, each with a summary: a verdict, the 5 key takeaways, and the spoiler, plus Actionable and Lessons tabs with more tips. You read that and decide what's actually worth opening.
125x puts a summary on every video from the channels you subscribe to, so you can get the point in about 30 seconds of reading and decide before you commit.
Open 125xWhat's in a summary
Open any video in 125x and you get a short brief instead of the player. There's a verdict (watch, skim, or skip) with the reason, 5 key takeaways, the things the video tells you to actually do, the lessons worth keeping, and the spoiler, which is the thing the title and thumbnail are teasing, just said plainly.
Each video also has an Actionable tab and a Lessons tab with more tips. The Actionable tab lists the steps the video gives you, and the Lessons tab has the ideas worth keeping.
The verdict is the whole idea
A description tells you what a video is about. A verdict tells you if it's worth your time. That's the part people actually need, and it's the first thing you see.
Summaries are triage. The good videos still deserve your full attention. The verdict helps you find them and gives you the gist of the ones that don't.
It doesn't make you wait
Summaries are made in the background, so opening one video doesn't stop you from looking at the next. When they're done they show up in a ready dock at the top of the screen with a count. Open the video later and the summary is already there.
Summaries are also saved per video, so if a friend already opened one, it's instant for you.
Sharing a summary
The Share button sends the summary as text, so your friend sees the title, channel, verdict, all 5 takeaways, and the spoiler right in the message. The link preview shows the verdict and the first takeaways too.
Is it safe to connect YouTube?
You sign in with Google and 125x asks for one thing, read-only access to YouTube. It can see your subscriptions and video details.
It can't post, comment, like, subscribe, or change anything on your account. Google's Third Party Data Safety team verified the app on Oct 24, 2026.
If you'd rather not connect an account at all, you don't have to. You can import your subscriptions with a bookmark from your YouTube channels page, or upload screenshots of the Subscriptions tab in the YouTube app. 125x reads the channel names, and the screenshots are processed in memory and never stored.
Questions
Do I have to paste links one at a time?
No. 125x builds your feed from your subscriptions and the summaries come with it. You just open a video.
Does it replace watching?
No. It tells you which videos are worth watching in full, and gives you the gist of the rest.
